About the Founder

Kristin Walcott-Dass

With a decade-long immersion in the nail art community, Kristin recognized a major gap in the availability of boutique nail polishes within Canada and the limited colour options catering to brown and black skin tones in the scene worldwide. Kristin pursued her passion to address this disparity. Graduating with a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, she blends her expertise in branding, marketing, and communications with her love for nail polish to champion inclusivity and diversity in the beauty industry. As the founder of Happy Rudy, she is dedicated to revolutionizing the nail polish market by offering unique, inclusive, eco-conscious, and vegan products that celebrate the beauty of every individual.
